The Queen Anne Whiffle Ball Classic is designed to be fun, competitive, and family-friendly. Our goal is to create a great experience for players of all ages while keeping games moving

A complete tournament rulebook will be emailed to team captains prior to the event.

​

Team Size

• Teams may have 5–7 players on their roster.

• 5 players will be on the field at a time.

• Each team must include at least one adult (18+) and one child (under 13).

• Teams may substitute freely between innings.

​

Game Length

• Games will consist of 4 innings or 25 minutes, whichever comes first.

• No new inning will begin after the time limit has been reached.

• Championship games may be extended at the tournament director's discretion.

• 8-team tournament (first come, first served)

• All teams are guaranteed at least 2 games

• Winners advance through the Championship Bracket

• Teams that lose their first game continue in the Consolation Bracket

• Championship game

Batting Order

• Teams will use a continuous batting order, meaning every player on the roster bats in the same order throughout the game.

• Three strikes = out.

• Four balls = walk.

• Three outs end each half inning.

​

Mercy Rule

To help keep the tournament on schedule, games will end early if one team leads by 10 or more runs after three complete innings.

​

Sportsmanship

Good sportsmanship is expected from all players, coaches, and spectators.

​

Please:

• Respect umpires, volunteers, opponents, and park staff.

• Avoid arguing calls or using abusive language.

• Play safely and encourage friendly competition.

• Remember that this is a community event benefiting our neighborhood.

• ​Pitchers should use an appropriate speed for younger players.

• Safety, participation, and fun take priority over competition.

Tournament officials reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is unsafe or unsportsmanlike.
